Elementary students at Shaw Island School show a "Welcome" bench they decorated and installed at the Graham Preserve on Shaw Island, where students have created "mini-prairies" by planting Garry oak seedlings along with other plants typical of coastal oak prairies.
This June and July, Land Bank will be temporarily closing sections of trail on Turtleback Mountain Preserve while culverts are being replaced.
