We’re happy to announce that Bailey J. Quishenberry joined the Preservation Trust staff on September 17 as our new Development/Admin Specialist.

Bailey grew up in the mountains of Southern California and spent her summers hiking, swimming, and kayaking up and down the west coast. Watching development along the coast instilled an ethic of land conservation, which led her to get a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sustainability from the University of California at Riverside. Bailey worked in fundraising and in the orchards of Orcas Island while obtaining her degree. Now she is committed to preserving the biodiversity of the islands in both her paintings and her work at the Preservation Trust.

Bailey is assisting SJPT Director of Philanthropy Barbara Courtney with fundraising logistics. She’s also providing administrative support for Executive Director Angela Anderson while making sure that things run smoothly in our Friday Harbor office.

Welcome aboard, Bailey!
