Rebecca Nuffer

Senior Philanthropy Officer

Rebecca Nuffer joined the Preservation Trust in October 2024 as the Senior Philanthropy Officer. Her background includes over 12 years of experience helping organizations connect their missions to their communities. In her role at SJPT, she focuses on stewarding members, deepening community impact, and expanding connections between people, nature, and the San Juan Preservation Trust.  

As a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Rebecca grew up surrounded by mountains and an extensive home garden. From here, she learned the importance of caring for our surroundings, nurturing plants, and supporting local ecology. She's excited about working with the San Juan Preservation Trust to steward support and foster deeper connections in her chosen home of the Pacific Northwest. 

A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, her creativity lends itself to crafting strategic fundraising campaigns, curating mission-specific events, and community outreach. 

Rebecca lives with her husband and young son in West Seattle, where she's frequently found walking in local parks, tackling a home improvement project, or developing a (delicious) new recipe.
