Charlotte Chevalier
Communications and Outreach Manager
Charlotte Chevalier joined the San Juan Preservation Trust as Communications and Outreach Manager in April 2025.
Charlotte’s commitment to the San Juans is both professional and personal, with roots going as far back as the late 1800s. Her passion for the San Juans blossomed when she was first introduced to the Chevalier family homestead on Waldron Island. Raising her daughter, a seventh generation islander in the San Juans, is a dream realized.
Prior to joining SJPT, she was the Head of Marketing and Communications at San Juan Island Brewing Company, where she led marketing, merchandise, and events. Her career in marketing took off as the first hire at a female founded design startup called Wildern, where she helped create and shape brands on a dynamic team for a wide variety of clients.
She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications Studies from Concordia University in Montréal, Québec, and an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Seattle Central Creative Academy.
In her spare time she volunteers as the Marketing Chair and working board member for the Team Heeb San Juan Island nonprofit, a community cancer fund for families afflicted by cancer on San Juan Island.
As a French American bilingual who spent her formative years moving from place to place, she is content continuing to settle in to life in the San Juans. Outside of work, she loves to spend time outdoors embracing the islands’ natural beauty with family, friends, and her community.
