Our Summer Social at Ellis Farm on Shaw Island on July 28 was a splendid affair. We were blessed with ideal weather and a great turnout of guests and volunteers! This was our fifth such event and, each year, we are repeatedly amazed by the outpouring of good will and support from our members.
We are particularly grateful to the Ellis family for their generous use of their beautiful property. We are also indebted to Gere-a-Deli for supplying the delicious picnic, JP and the OK Rhythm Boys and Two Room School for the great music, and Michael and Jeffri of Crow Valley Gallery for organizing the art show and auction.
