The Preservation Trust’s Forty-third annual meeting took place, virtually, on the evening of May 19, 2022. We recorded the event, and invite you to watch it here —slightly edited to paper over some technical glitches!
The meeting included several cameo videos, which you can watch individually using the following YouTube links:
- Brief introductory video, A Place We Call Home (courtesy of Graphiti Associates)
- Meet our Volunteer of the Year, Skip Bold of Shaw Island
- SJPT Conservation Successes 1979–2022 (animated map)
- Meet our 2022 Climate Leadership Scholarship Winners
- Join our Board of Directors in supporting the next generation of climate leaders: Donate to the scholarship fund.
To top off the official proceedings, our featured speaker, Eliza Habegger of the San Juan County Conservation Land Bank, gave a fun and informative presentation titled “Growing Together with the Salish Seeds Project.” Eliza’s talk (voted “Best part of the show” in our post-meeting survey) begins at at this point in the meeting recording.
Eliza described ongoing efforts to improve and expand the Salish Seeds Project nursery. Help the Salish Seeds Project grow.
We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished over the past year, together with our conservation partners—including our priceless donors and volunteers. Thank you!
