Conservation victories: Turtleback Mountain and Crow Valley, Orcas Island | Kurt Thorson

Are you (or do you know) a nature-loving professional with 10+ years of experience in public or private land conservation? Does this experience include natural resource management, land-use planning, negotiating real estate transactions, and grant writing? If so, then we might have just the job that you (or your acquaintance) have been looking for: Conservation Director of the San Juan Preservation Trust.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Conservation Director develops and implements the Preservation Trust’s land conservation program. This individual collaborates with land owners, agency partners (such as the San Juan County Land Bank), and other nonprofit organizations to build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality land conservation projects.

The position is open until filled. Interview selections begin in early March. See the full job description and application instructions here.
