Preserves You Can Visit
Together with our landowner partners, the San Juan Preservation Trust has permanently protected more than 19,000 acres of land throughout the San Juan Islands. The majority of this land belongs to private landowners and is not open to the public. This map highlights nature preserves that ARE open for public visitation, with some restrictions.
Click on a hiker icon on the map to learn more about a preserve you can visit, or scroll down to search preserves alphabetically or by island.
