If so, this job opportunity could be for you: We’re seeking a Caretaker & Facilities Specialist for Red Mill Farm Preserve on San Juan Island. This live-in caretaker position is half-time (20 hours/week), year-round, and includes a salary (in addition to housing and utilities) plus paid vacation, medical/family leave, 11 holidays/year, and other benefits.
The “Red Mill”
Red Mill Farm Preserve is a working, 748-acre farm in the heart of San Juan Valley. A tenant manages the majority of the farm for agricultural operations; the caretaker maintains the residential portion of the property, which encompasses an historic farmhouse, caretaker’s cottage, and other outbuildings– including the little “Red Mill” from which the farm gets its name.
