Come help San Juan Preservation Trust’s Rob Roy McGregor install a split rail fence around the Roz Glasser Shoreline Restoration Project planting area at the Peach Preserve interpretive site. This 130 foot long fence will be a sturdy replacement of the temporary fencing currently in place to prevent accidental trampling of the native plants that were planted by the Guemes Island Planning Advisory Committee and volunteers. Additional tasks may include early season weeding, or planting.
Work parties are timed to coincide with ferry schedules and normally last 3 hours. Please sign up here so that we can expect you. Further details will be e-mailed to you prior to the event.
