Nature Journaling
August 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Marilyn and Fred Ellis Preserve

Lots to observe and ponder at the Ellis Preserve | Staff Archive
This field trip will introduce some basics of journaling and sketching as ways of creating a record of observations experienced while spending time in nature. You do not need to be an artist, writer or naturalist to create an illuminated journal. Acting as a lens and focus, journaling can deepen our relationship with the world around us and kindle sparks of creativity. Materials will be supplied, though if you have a favorite pencil or pen, feel free to bring it along.
