Lots to observe and ponder at the Ellis Preserve | Staff Archive

Sandi Burt & Ruthie Dougherty will introduce some basics of journaling and sketching as ways of creating a record of observations experienced in the outdoors. You do not need to be an artist, writer, or naturalist to create an illuminated nature journal. Acting as lens and focus, journaling can deepen our relationship with the world around us, kindle sparks of creativity, and be healing. Materials will be supplied, though if you have a favorite journal, pencil, or pen, feel free to bring them.
