Brush piles on Turtleback Mountain.

The San Juan County Conservation Land Bank, in partnership with the Islands Conservation Corps, Rain Shadow Consulting and the San Juan Preservation Trust, is offering a tour to highlight recent forest management work funded by a Washington Department of Natural Resources grant.

The project areas, described by the partners during a December 15th presentation, feature roadside fuels reduction, forest thinning and Garry oak release work.

Please join us to learn more about these and other forest management actions aimed at improving forest health, habitat value and resiliency in the face of climate change.
