Take some time to breathe the fresh air and smell the blooming flowers growing in our Island Marble Butterfly Habitat Patches! Here’s an opportunity for you to join Preservation Trust staff on a bike ride around the heart of San Juan Island where we will be stopping by all three butterfly plots. Learn more about the status of our endemic Island Marble Butterfly, the species of wildflowers our volunteers help us plant for them, and search for the many pollinators attracted to these “nectar islands”
Bike ride led by Sierra O’Connell and plot tours led by Kathleen Foley Lewis. There will be plenty of space for physical distancing and snacks will be included. Please bring your own bike and helmet or let us know if you need help finding a rental.
Participation is free, but please click here to register so we send you the details.
