Raised in the rural countryside of South Africa, Jill developed her passion for the outdoors and the bush at an early age. She has travelled widely, receiving her bachelor’s degree in History of Art from the University of Florence, Italy. After living and working in Europe and spending some time living in Western Canada, Jill and her family settled in Northern California where she was general manager and part owner of a popular restaurant and spent many years working as an executive assistant in both the corporate world and for private high net worth individuals.
Her most recent employment was for a global non-profit organization that provides access to reproductive health solutions for women and girls around the world. Jill is excited to bring her non-profit experience and administrative skills to the Preservation Trust.
Jill and her husband are enthusiastic photographers, hikers and, dog owners. As recent transplants to the San Juans, they look forward to living the dream in this idyllic corner of the world.
