Jeff Johnson

Jeff explored and fell in love with the San Juan Islands while hiking in the late 1980s. His appreciation for the biodiversity found throughout the area continually tugged at his heart to return here once he retired in 2013.

Jeff graduated from Texas A &M University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He was CEO of two veterinary corporations, which eventually merged with national corporations within this profession. He is presently CEO of a real estate firm in Texas, and he currently serves as a board member on the Orcas Island Community Foundation. Jeff has been involved with a myriad wildlife and marine mammal projects spanning his two decades of living in Alaska. He earned a Merit of Recognition from the United States Department of the Interior for these efforts.

Jeff lives in Crow Valley on a farmstead with his wife, Angie, and their two Great Danes. His hobbies include bicycling, hiking, and cruising throughout the Northwest and Alaska area.
